Retail and Consumer Account Executive - North Central

Job Overview

The Account Executive - Retail and Consumer Goods is a full portfolio seller focusing on a mix of existing and new targets. Perficient is a rapidly growing AI global digital consulting leader transforming the world's largest enterprises and brands.

Responsibilities

• Applies and leverages Perficient Sales Processes, Solution Selling, and Account Management practices.
• Generates sales in excess of $5+M per year of IT consulting services.
• Builds strong relationships with clients, including Fortune 500, CIOs, Senior Information Systems Executives, and Senior Business Executives.
• Manages customer engagement opportunities from lead generation to deal review, negotiations, and closing a deal.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of services sales or professional consulting experience.
• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in complex solutions environments at Fortune 500 clients.
• Knowledge of/experience with structured sales methodologies such as Strategic Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN, Power-based Selling, Target Account Selling.
• Ability to partner with clients to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business.
• Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills; strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent collaboration and team-building skills.
• Familiarity with AI-Enhanced platforms is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
