The first impression you make on an employer is often the one projected by your resume. Your resume is viewed as a marketing tool to "sell" yourself. The purpose of your resume is to get you an interview, PERIOD. No matter how nice your resume looks or how good you think it is, if it's not getting you interviews, it needs to be changed.
