Hanwha Qcells USA Corp (Qcells USA), headquartered in Houston, TX, specializes in utility-scale solar modules, photovoltaic (PV), and battery energy storage systems (BESS) project development, along with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services for solar and BESS projects nationwide. The Recruiter will assist the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment strategies to meet hiring goals across the organization, partnering with HR to deliver value-added service that reflects business objectives. This role maintains business literacy about organizational strategies, hiring plans, culture, and labor market competition. The position is remote, with occasional travel to the Houston, TX office, and standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple disciplines, including construction, engineering, environmental health, safety and quality (EHSQ), corporate functions, supply chain, operations, and other technical or specialized departments.
  • Develop an understanding of new roles, technical requirements, and labor markets to pivot between competing hiring needs.
  • Handle the full recruitment cycle: posting job requisitions, sourcing, conducting interviews, drafting offer letters, and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain compliance, data integrity, and ATS/HRIS management.
  • Identify and engage talent in specific disciplines, delivering a compelling company brand message to candidates.
  • Build robust talent pipelines across diverse functional areas and generate rapid results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain TA systems (Jobvite, Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards) and optimize ATS workflows, templates, and analytics.
  • Support diversity hiring strategies through job boards, virtual job fairs, and targeted outreach.
  • Assist in TA projects, construct target lists, develop talent pipelines, conduct interviews, and capture market data to assess candidate qualifications.
  • Collect and analyze external talent market data to inform hiring decisions.
  • Ensure candidate engagement and a positive experience throughout the recruiting process.
  • Handle confidential document storage and distribution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and regular attendance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience in renewable energy, solar, or construction environments, including roles in engineering, sustainability, skilled trades, or multidisciplinary fields.
  • Strong interviewing, assessment, and candidate selection skills.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and goal-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail to adhere to compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of the utility-scale solar project lifecycle, especially engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC).

Physical Demands

  • Frequently remains stationary (up to 90% of the time) and sits for up to 8 hours daily.
  • Infrequently bends, stands, stoops, walks, carries weight (up to 10 pounds), or climbs stairs.
  • Frequent communication (hearing and speech) and use of sight for computer and document work.
  • Occasional travel (up to 10%) and potential transition to onsite or hybrid work based on business needs.

Work Environment

  • Primarily remote with occasional travel to the Houston, TX office.
  • Noise levels range from low to moderate (office setting) or moderate to high (construction worksite).

Pay

The salary range for this position in Irvine, CA, is compliant with the California Pay Transparency Act. Actual compensation varies based on factors such as internal pay equity, skill set, education, geographic location, and experience relative to the role’s minimum qualifications. Additional bonuses or incentives may be offered, along with medical, dental, and other benefits, depending on the position level.
