Restorative CNA/CNT

We are currently looking for a Restorative CNA for a full-time evening shift – 10am to 6pm with alternating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide restorative nursing care to residents.
• Participate in the development of an individualized plan of care for assigned residents.
• Document each treatment provided, refusal of treatment, reason(s) treatment could not be provided, and progress notes as required.
• Be familiar with restorative programs such as range of motion, ambulation, active and passive exercise, use of assisted devices, ADL programs, and feeding programs.
• Involvement in family or resident teaching.
• Experience with medical terminology and patient care.
• Strong computer skills.
• Answers call lights.
• Attends in-services as required.

Requirements

• Current and active Tennessee CNA license.
• Previous restorative care preferred along with long-term care experience.
• Must be able to work independently and make decisions when circumstances warrant to meet the needs of residents.
• Must be flexible in work habits to meet needs of residents or nursing staff.
• Must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with residents, families, and visitors.
• Must be able to read and understand standard English.
• Willing to work as part of a caring team to provide the best possible care for our residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current and active Nurse Aide Certification.

Pay

Salary range: $17.08 to $23.12 with retention bonus opportunity.
