Restorative CNA
A Day in the Life of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
You provide total care for our residents, starting with carefully assisting with providing activities of daily living (ADLs) to residents (including washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care and catheter care).
You perform care as defined by resident plan of care/CNA assignment card. You visit with residents and reposition as required.
You record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight. You also conduct range of motion as needed.
You take great care to observe and report any change in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior that you find when caring for your residents.
You live up to the trust of those in your care by maintaining confidentiality and following Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) requirements as well as upholding our facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- Completed a state approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
- Current Kansas certification/registration to practice.
- Certified CPR.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations.
- Desire to work with the elderly.
- Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required.
Work Schedule
This full-time health care position works 8-hour shifts.
