Restorative CNA

Responsibilities

• Works with residents for physical rehabilitation
• Encourages and assists residents in activities
• Aids residents in performing strengthening exercises
• Collaborates with residents in strengthening, endurance, positioning, standing, and safety exercises
• Suggests and uses adaptive equipment like walkers and wheelchairs
• Aids in feeding rehabilitation
• Monitors residents' eating, drinking, and swallowing habits
• Notes changes in utensil use and appetite

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program meeting state requirements
• One year experience preferred

5 days a pay period, every other weekend, 7 am-3 pm
