We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and energetic Restorative Certified Nursing Assistant to join our growing team. Our management staff provides a positive and supportive working environment with plenty of upward mobility.
About the role
The Restorative CNA provides assistance with activities of daily living and performs restorative programs as developed by therapists. They are responsible for maintaining resident care schedules and ensuring equipment is properly managed for treatments.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the Restorative Dining program.
- Perform restorative programs as developed by the Therapists/Restorative Nurse.
- Assist with mobility, personal care, and ADLs.
- Report to and perform duties assigned by the restorative nursing supervisor.
- Demonstrate proficiency in motivating residents to participate in and complete restorative programs.
- Maintain equipment and supplies for treatment.
- Maintain consistent resident care schedule and use time efficiently.
Requirements
- Current license to work in the State of Colorado as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Ability to lift and transfer patients.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write English.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient demeanor with a positive attitude.
- Tact, patience, and level temperament to handle stressful situations.
