About the role
Available schedule: Monday - Friday & every other weekend, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Responsibilities
- Assist in providing regular resident care as directed
- Provide active and passive range of motion following directions from physical and occupational therapists
- Deliver personal care to residents in a safe and comfortable manner
- Assist in restorative or rehabilitative care
- Notify licensed staff when a resident complains of pain
- Perform restorative nursing tasks such as ambulation, range of motion, positioning, and self-feeding within training scope
- Observe and report resident’s ambulation ability, distance, body alignment, and gait
- Ambulates resident to specified distances with assistance and/or equipment as per care plan
- Record ambulation, muscle strengthening, and range of motion in resident notes
- Provide general nursing care including positioning, lifting, turning, and assisting with bedpans or commodes
- Adhere to center policies and procedures
- Participate in socialization activities
- Assist residents back to bed, ensuring proper body mechanics and safety
- Treat residents and families with respect and dignity
- Perform care in an environment that optimizes resident safety and reduces errors
- Support and maintain a culture of safety and quality
- Properly restrain residents when ordered
- Assist in restraint reduction programs by reviewing and monitoring residents
- Provide reality orientation in daily care
Qualifications
- At least one year of long-term care experience
- Past experience as a restorative aide preferred
- Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) certification required
- Must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication
