Restorative Aide | CNA
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Restorative Aides | CNAs to join our team.
About the role
As a Restorative Aide | CNA, you will deliver rehabilitative and therapeutic services as ordered and supervised by licensed medical staff, in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements. You will assist residents to achieve or maintain their highest practicable level of ADL function through consistent, structured, and controlled re-teaching and retraining techniques to promote increased participation in activities of daily living.
Responsibilities
- Provide rehabilitative and therapeutic services under supervision of licensed medical staff
- Assist residents in achieving or maintaining their highest practicable level of ADL function
- Implement structured re-teaching and retraining techniques
Requirements
- Active and in good standing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice
- Prior experience as a Restorative Aide in a LTC/SNF required
- Prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Passion for working with seniors
- Flexible, fun, and energetic personality
