About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Restorative Aide to join our PACE Therapy team. In this role, you will support participants in maintaining or improving their physical functioning, independence, and quality of life. Working under the direction of therapy professionals, you will assist with restorative care programs in the therapy gym, day center, and participant homes while helping to maintain equipment and supplies essential to delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

  • Absorb and execute restorative care programs in the therapy gym, day center, and participant homes.
  • Perform active and passive range of motion exercises and support positioning, splinting, and restorative techniques as directed by therapy staff.
  • Complete wellness and maintenance exercises with participants in the day center and home setting.
  • Lead and assist with group exercise activities and restorative programming.
  • Clean, maintain, and prepare restorative and therapy equipment for participant use.
  • Manage inventory of therapy and office supplies, track usage, and communicate ordering needs to the Therapy Manager.
  • Maintain participant progress records and report changes in condition, function, or barriers to care.
  • Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated participant care.
  • Identify and report equipment maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Safely assist participants entering and exiting program vehicles as needed.
  • Travel to participant homes to complete restorative and wellness programs.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification: Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and current CPR certification required and maintained throughout employment.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience working with frail, elderly, or medically complex populations required; prior experience in a rehabilitation, skilled nursing facility (SNF), restorative care, or therapy setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in both verbal and written formats, including in sensitive or emotional situations.
  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations prior to direct participant contact.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and assisting participants with mobility needs.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
