Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Senior Villa in Roosevelt, UT is hiring a dedicated Restorative Aide - CNA (with other assigned duties) to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Assisting residents to meet rehabilitation goals through exercise modalities
- Managing and teaching exercise activities to groups of residents
- Interdepartmental communications within care team of both nursing and therapy
- Documentation of resident exercise treatments
- Will serve in assistant role to staffing coordinator approximately 50% of the time
- Assisting with CNA scheduling and floor coverage
- Assist with gathering staffing and performance data
- Assist with team education and oversight
Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment with Avalon
- Must have one year experience working as a certified nursing assistant (CNA)
- Meet State and federal requirements, generally 12 hours, in service education
- Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English
- Recent education or clinical hours are required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must pass criminal background investigation and reference inquiry
- Experience with fitness instruction is preferred
