Restorative Aide (24048)

About the role

The Restorative Aide supports the provision of restorative and/or rehabilitative care for ProCare I-SNP members. This role provides personal care to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort, and assists in restorative or rehabilitative care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs restorative nursing tasks such as ambulation, range of motion, positioning, and self-feeding within the scope of individual training.
• Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for patients.
• Advises the Director of Rehab (DOR) of patient status daily.
• Contributes knowledge of patients' conditions and needs to patient care plans.
• Assists in the implementation of care plans as directed within established policy and procedure.
• Observes and reports on patients' conditions and documents observations as required.

Requirements

• State certification as a Nursing Assistant is mandatory.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be available to work six days per week.
• Ability to travel to additional SNF locations within the geographical area.
