Restorative Aide (24050)

Locations: Coronado–San Antonio and Sundance–New Braunfels

About the role

The overall purpose of the Restorative Aide position is to support the provision of restorative and/or rehabilitative care of ProCare I-SNP members as appropriate. Provide personal care to patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort. Assist in the provision of restorative or rehabilitative care.

Responsibilities

• Performs restorative nursing tasks such as ambulation, range of motion, positioning, self-feeding, etc., within the scope of individuals' training.
• Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for patients.
• Advises Director of Rehab (DOR) of Patient's status daily.
• Contributes knowledge of Patient's conditions/needs to patient care plans.
• Assists in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
• Observes and reports on Patients' conditions and documents observations as required.

Requirements

• State certification as a Nursing Assistant is mandatory.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
• Must be available to work six days per week.
• Ability to travel to additional SNF locations within geographical area.
