We are hiring a skilled and motivated Restoration Technician to perform mitigation and restoration services for residential and commercial properties. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who works well under pressure, values craftsmanship, and understands the importance of customer care during stressful loss situations. Key Responsibilities Perform water extraction, structural drying, fire and smoke mitigation Set up, monitor, and remove restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers)Perform controlled demolition and removal of damaged materialsClean, sanitize, and restore structural materials and contentsTake moisture readings using meters and thermal imaging toolsDocument job progress with photos and mobile job management softwareMaintain safe, organized, and professional job sitesCommunicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and team membersFollow OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and company procedures Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response services Qualifications Experience in restoration, mitigation, construction, general labor, or skilled trades preferredKnowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, or fire damage cleanup a plusIICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) preferred or willingness to obtainAbility to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in varied environmentsValid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordWillingness to work evenings, weekends, and emergency calls Why Join ServiceMaster Restore?
