Restoration Technician

About the role

This is a hands-on Restoration Technician position with United Water Restoration Group in Long Island, NY. You'll perform water, fire, mold, and hazard restoration work with precision, quality, and safety while maintaining industry standards and NYS compliance. Responsibilities include driving company vehicles, keeping job sites clean and organized, and communicating directly with clients, teammates, and project managers. You’ll also join the on-call rotation for emergencies, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform water, fire, mold, and hazard restoration work with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and NYS regulations on every job.
• Drive company vehicles and ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and on schedule.
• Communicate directly with clients, teammates, and project managers to prevent oversights.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergencies, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of trade experience.
• Restoration clean-up (water, mold, fire damage) experience preferred but not required.
• Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation available 24/7.
• Ability to repeatedly push, pull, lift, and carry equipment, and work around cleaning products and chemicals.
• Comfortable with a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Highly responsive, self-motivated, and able to empathize with clients during stressful situations.

Pay

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
