Restoration Technician

BluSky Restoration is looking for a full-time Restoration Technician to respond to emergencies and restore residential and commercial properties. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and values teamwork, integrity, and fun.

About the role

As a first responder on property loss situations, you’ll help mitigate damage through water extraction, structural board-up, cleaning, microbial remediation, and content handling. You’ll also provide exceptional customer service with empathy and occasionally supervise temporary labor personnel.

Responsibilities

• Water extraction and mitigation
• Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
• Microbial remediation
• Vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard clean-up
• Demolition (Demo Day!)
• Field management and supervision of temporary labor personnel
• Provide the highest level of customer service with empathy
• All other duties or projects as assigned

Requirements

• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to be on-call 24 hours a day
• 1 year of restoration industry or maintenance experience preferred (not required)
• IICRC certifications a plus (training provided)

Work Environment & Physical Demands

The work environment is typically quiet, though physical demands include:

• Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
• Regularly sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and hearing
• Frequent movement and walking around job sites

Travel

Occasional travel (less than 25% of the time), including some out-of-area and overnight trips for training or meetings.

Pay

Competitive base pay between $15–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
