Restoration Supervisor

About the Role

The Restoration Supervisor works as part of a team to perform emergency services and contents restoration while adhering to company policies, EPA, OSHA, and local safety and hazardous materials handling requirements. Availability for after-hours and weekend emergency response work is required.

Responsibilities

• Restore residential and commercial properties to dry standard efficiently
• Monitor and document temperature and humidity readings from job sites
• Set up emergency services equipment and prepare contents for storage
• Regularly set up containment areas and drying chambers
• Clean, HEPA vacuum, and disinfect contaminated contents and work areas
• Complete job site documentation, including moisture maps, field logs, and photo/video documentation
• Follow safety rules, regulations, guidelines, and site-specific safety plans
• Operate tools and equipment, including routine inspection and preventative maintenance
• Perform work at high elevations (e.g., ladders, scaffolding)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record
• 2–4 years of construction and restoration experience, specifically on water/fire damage jobs, environmental, or hazardous waste projects
• IICRC Water Restoration certification (preferred)
• Heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience (preferred)
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Bilingual English/Spanish (encouraged but not required)

Skills

• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rates, ratios, and percentages
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Strong verbal communication skills for customer and team interactions
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to follow directions
• Commitment to company safety policies

Work Environment

The role involves working around equipment and machinery in dirty, dusty, and noisy environments. Work surfaces may be uneven, and conditions may include exposure to hazardous substances, extreme weather, and temperatures. Frequent travel is required. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory, including full/half-face respirators and confined-space gear.

Physical Demands

• Must pass an OSHA (HAZWOPER) medical surveillance physical examination and drug screening
• Able to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly
• Capable of working in confined spaces and at high elevations
