About the role

This is a Lead Restoration Technician role with United Water Restoration Group – Islandia, NY. You’ll run the job:

  • Own the site: setup, safety, equipment, documentation, and client updates.
  • Lead techs on water, fire, mold, and hazard jobs across Nassau & Suffolk.
  • Rotate on-call for nights/weekends – real emergencies, real responsibility.
  • Keep trucks tight, job sites spotless, and jobs moving on schedule.

Responsibilities

This is a Lead Restoration Technician role with United Water Restoration Group – Islandia, NY. You’ll run the job:

  • Own the site: setup, safety, equipment, documentation, and client updates.
  • Lead techs on water, fire, mold, and hazard jobs across Nassau & Suffolk.
  • Rotate on-call for nights/weekends – real emergencies, real responsibility.
  • Keep trucks tight, job sites spotless, and jobs moving on schedule.

Requirements

  • Restoration, construction, or related trade experience. Lead experience a plus.
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License; able to lift/carry equipment and work at a fast pace.
  • Willing to join the on-call rotation (nights/weekends).
  • Highly responsive, hungry to rise above mediocrity, and able to empathize with people on their worst days.

Qualifications

  • Experience with IICRC, OSHA, DOT/CMV certifications preferred.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using restoration equipment and tools.

Pay

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule
