We're not a call center hours away, you'll be working directly with the owner as we build this business from the ground up. We Offer Pay: $20-25/hr based on experienceA real, defined path: Field Technician → Lead Technician → Production Manager, with opportunities for pay increases as you earn certifications along the wayFull training and IICRC-backed certification supportA small, team-oriented crew where your work is visible and valued, not lost in a big organizationReal community impact, helping neighbors right here in Middletown and Monmouth County get back on their feet after water, fire, and mold damage Job Summary The Field Technician provides 24/7 emergency water damage recovery, mold remediation, fire restoration, and indoor air quality services in homes and buildings across Middletown and Monmouth County. Field Technicians work directly under the supervision of a Lead Technician, Crew Supervisor, or Project Manager in a team atmosphere. The Supervisor will assign various tasks to the field technician to complete as part of the project as a whole. Typical Duties Include Light demolition and removal of finished building materials from the job siteOperating water collection vacuums or pumps to extract standing water from inside structuresDetailed, fine cleaning including vacuuming, brushing, and damp wiping surfaces and building contentsSetting or adjusting equipment for drying or filtrationCleaning HVAC / air duct & exhaust systems using collection vacuums, rotary and stationarySquatting, crawling, and ladder work are often required to access all areas of a home or buildingDemonstrate proper, safe operation of battery-operated and corded power drills, hammer drills, circular saws, reciprocating sawsDemonstrate safe lifting, pushing, pulling, and ladder-climbing practicesDemonstrate safe chemical storage, labeling, and use practicesStrong communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to operate PC and mobile devicesExhibit a professional, neat appearanceAbility to lift 75 lbs Qualifications No experience required, 1-2 years of relevant experience preferredWorking knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction practices is a strong plusSelf-motivated and growth-orientedAble to work efficiently and effectively in a team environmentComfortable traveling to job sites throughout Middletown and greater Monmouth CountyValid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record (MVR check required) Safety Gear Provided PPEGloves (leather, nitrile, or coated cloth depending on application)Safety Glasses or GogglesN-95 RespiratorsPoly Spun "Tyvek" style suits with hood and foot protectionShoe Covers, Knee Pads, and Muck BootsHard Hats, Ear Protection, and steel-toe shoes may be required, depending on site applicationFall protection for aerial work Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Lightspeed Restoration franchises come to the aid of residential and commercial customers who have been impacted by water and fire damage and indoor air quality issues.
