About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Restoration Director to lead and oversee all restoration operations, including emergency services, water mitigation, fire damage restoration, mold remediation, contents, reconstruction coordination, project management, staffing, training, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring restoration projects are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and in accordance with IICRC standards and company procedures. The ideal candidate is a proven restoration industry leader with the ability to build teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and develop operational systems that support continued growth.

Responsibilities

Operations Leadership

  • Manage daily operations of the restoration division.
  • Oversee water, fire, mold, storm, and contents restoration projects.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor job profitability, production schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop restoration technicians, project managers, and supervisors.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and establish accountability standards.
  • Lead regular team meetings and safety training sessions.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, urgency, and customer service.

Project Oversight

  • Review scopes of work, estimates, and job documentation.
  • Coordinate emergency response efforts and after-hours operations.
  • Ensure compliance with IICRC standards and industry best practices.
  • Oversee quality control inspections and project completion reviews.

Insurance & Estimating

  • Review Xactimate estimates and supplements.
  • Work with insurance carriers, adjusters, TPAs, and property owners.
  • Assist in resolving scope disputes and supplement negotiations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and billing practices.

Financial Management

  • Manage division budgets and profitability goals.
  • Monitor job costing, labor efficiency, and gross margins.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve operational efficiency.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Maintain proper equipment, certifications, and documentation.
  • Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of restoration industry management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, storm restoration, and contents services.
  • Experience managing multiple restoration crews and projects simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of Xactimate.
  • Strong understanding of insurance claims processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred

  • IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, OCT, CDS, etc.).
  • Previous experience as a Restoration Manager, Operations Manager, Branch Manager, or Restoration Director.
  • Experience with restoration software such as DASH, MICA, Encircle, PSA, or similar platforms.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
