Duties/Responsibilities
- Attend to the needs of hotel, meeting, restaurant and/or bar guests and resolve customer complaints regarding food and beverage service.
- Train workers in food service and beverage preparation, and in service, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards.
- Control inventories of food, equipment, small ware, and liquor, and report shortages to designated personnel.
- Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures in order to ensure quality standards and service.
- Assign duties, responsibilities, and work stations to employees in accordance with work requirements.
- Perform personnel actions such as hiring and disciplining staff, consulting with other managers as necessary.
- Analyze operational problems, such as theft and wastage, and establish procedures to alleviate these problems.
- Perform other related work duties as assigned.

Physical Activities
- With/Without Reasonable Accommodation: Position involves working in a restaurant and bar setting. Occasional (10-33%) standing, pushing, pulling and grasping. Frequent (34-66%) reaching and viewing a computer and other types of close visual work. Constant (67-100%) sitting, walking, repetitive motion, talking and hearing.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or the equivalent is required.
- Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
- Preference will be given to those candidates with a post high school degree.
- Preference will be given to those candidates with a minimum of two years full-time experience in a related hospitality/beverage setting and 1 year leadership or the equivalent education and related work experience.
