Restaurant Supervisor (Luckies Kitchen) - Full Time - Virginia

About the Role

Live! is seeking an Outlet Supervisor to manage the administration, operation, and direct management of the Café. As a member of the food and beverage leadership team, you will maintain exceptional knowledge of menu items and preparation methods while contributing to the overall success of the Live! brand.

Responsibilities

• Develop and assist in supervisory capacity with the business plan and budget for the Café.
• Control inventory and order supplies, food, and drink necessary to operate the Café.
• Develop the careers of servers, hosts, cashiers, and utility staff, including training, interviewing, performance management, disciplinary counseling, and performance evaluations.
• Review staffing levels to maintain a budgeted level of employment.
• Delegate authority and assign duties as necessary.
• Review departmental status with the Food & Beverage Manager.
• Develop, implement, and supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss‑time injuries.
• Meet with departmental directors and managers as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
• Three (3) years of experience in restaurant supervision and/or management, purchasing, and inventory control.
• Ability to secure and maintain licensure required by the Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity.
• Knowledge of sanitation laws, health regulations, and applicable OSHA regulations.
• Ability to analyze and interpret operation results.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for complex issues.
• Flexible schedule and accuracy in completing assigned duties in a sometimes disruptive environment.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for long periods without sitting or leaning.
• Climb stairs multiple times daily.
• Reach upwards with body and arms.
• Effectively multitask.
• Exert up to 50 lb of force occasionally, and up to 30 lb frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
