Primary Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence
- Shift Management: Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, floor plans, and reservation management.
- Quality Control: Conduct daily taste panels and menu classes to ensure only premium products reach our guests.
- Facility Oversight: Maintain a safe, sanitary environment and manage repair/maintenance needs through proactive work orders.
- Financial Integrity: Execute revenue and check-control procedures while monitoring staffing levels against forecast and budget.
- Team Leadership
- Development: Train staff on Horseshoe Bay Resort and Crescent service standards; reinforce empowerment principles.
- Performance: Manage daily associate relations, ensure fair station rotations, and oversee accurate scheduling and time adjustments.
- Culture: Foster a motivated, well-trained team by providing active support on the floor during peak service hours.
- Guest Engagement
- Presence: Maintain a constant, welcoming presence on the floor to seek feedback and resolve operational challenges (call-outs, unexpected bookings) in real-time.
- Continuous Improvement: Support the Quality Improvement Process to elevate the overall guest experience.
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years of food service or related hospitality experience.
- Certifications: 18+ years of age; valid TABC and Food Handler’s certificates required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in Hospitality or Management preferred.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead a team and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays) based on 24/7 business needs.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible workspace.

- Experience maintaining strong floor presence to engage guests, resolve service issues in real time, conduct taste panels and menu knowledge training, and support revenue, labor control, and check-control procedures aligned with budget and forecast expectations.
- Experience training and coaching food and beverage associates on service standards, managing schedules and station rotations, handling time adjustments, and supporting a motivated, well-trained team during peak service hours.
- Experience supervising daily food and beverage operations, including opening and closing procedures, floor plan execution, reservation flow, and maintaining service quality during high-volume meal periods in a resort or hospitality environment.
- High School or better
