About the role

This role oversees private dining between 2 restaurant outlets: 8Eleven Modern Bistro and Boilerhouse Prime.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to private dining inquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
  • Conduct site visits and consultations with prospective guests.
  • Prepare customized proposals, menus, contracts, and event details.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell food, beverage, and additional services.
  • Build relationships with repeat guests, local businesses, university groups, and community organizations.
  • Aid in achieving private dining revenue goals for both restaurant locations.
  • Partner with restaurant managers, chefs, and service teams to ensure successful event execution.
  • Attend and oversee select events to ensure guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Act as the primary liaison between guests and restaurant teams before, during, and after events.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality, restaurants, catering, sales, or event coordination.
  • Strong organization, planning, and team development skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Micros POS systems.
  • Excellent customer focus and problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous experience coordinating private dining, catering, banquets, or special events preferred.
  • Experience working in upscale dining or hotel environments.
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds and move between hot and cold environments as needed.
  • College degree preferred.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
