About the role
This role oversees private dining between 2 restaurant outlets: 8Eleven Modern Bistro and Boilerhouse Prime.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to private dining inquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
- Conduct site visits and consultations with prospective guests.
- Prepare customized proposals, menus, contracts, and event details.
- Identify opportunities to upsell food, beverage, and additional services.
- Build relationships with repeat guests, local businesses, university groups, and community organizations.
- Aid in achieving private dining revenue goals for both restaurant locations.
- Partner with restaurant managers, chefs, and service teams to ensure successful event execution.
- Attend and oversee select events to ensure guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Act as the primary liaison between guests and restaurant teams before, during, and after events.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality, restaurants, catering, sales, or event coordination.
- Strong organization, planning, and team development skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Micros POS systems.
- Excellent customer focus and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience coordinating private dining, catering, banquets, or special events preferred.
- Experience working in upscale dining or hotel environments.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 40 pounds and move between hot and cold environments as needed.
- College degree preferred.
