About the role
A Restaurant Service Lead supports the Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) with the day-to-day operations at Eataly’s full-service restaurants. Reports to the Restaurant AGM and serves as a liaison with restaurant support staff.
Responsibilities
- Provides a steady leadership presence on the floor daily, monitoring guest, food and team member service
- Ensures exceptional service standards are consistently met and that activities are carried out effectively
- Inspects dining room and storage areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Purchases supplies, beverages and equipment as per the direction of the Restaurant AGM
- Assists with administrative and operational duties as needed
- Drafts, investigates, escalates and resolves all employee and guest incidents
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in food service
- Understanding of steps of service
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or associate degree in Restaurant Management or Hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage preferred
Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Food Handler’s License preferred

Pay
$18 an hour plus tips.
