CO-OP Restaurant & Lounge, located within The Study at University City, is a 120-seat restaurant and lounge serving full-service dining including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and room service. It integrates with hotel operations and caters to university, corporate, and local clientele in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and professional food and beverage service to guests.
• Guide guests through menu offerings, daily specials, and beverage selections.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergy considerations, and beverage programs.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout service and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Complete opening and closing side work, including setup, breakdown, and detailed cleaning of service areas.
• Work collaboratively with culinary and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support team members as needed to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Continue developing knowledge of food, wine, beer, and cocktails.

Fundamentals

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant environment.
• Availability: Morning shifts typically between 6:00am and 3:00pm.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational and teamwork skills; proficiency in English; ability to lift or carry items up to 40 pounds; ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.
