Restaurant Server

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and provide recommendations based on the menu.
• Serve food and beverages to customers promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure the dining area is clean and organized, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Monitor guest dining experiences and provide prompt attention to their needs.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately, including credit card transactions and tips.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality service.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients to address guest inquiries.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all service areas.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including stock management and cleaning.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a server in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
