Restaurant Server

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Server to join our team! The Server is the face of our restaurant and plays an integral role in our customer’s dining experience. You will build rapport with customers, answer questions about the menu, take orders, serve food & drinks, and ensure that customers enjoy their dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from customers using food serving trays
• Answer questions about the menu and preparation
• Provide accurate orders to the kitchen staff
• Check with customers periodically during their meals to ensure they are satisfied
• Take orders from customers for food and beverages
• Provide customers with their checks at the end of the meal and process payment
• Work well with other staff members

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server is mandatory
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation
• Works well with others as a part of a team
