Restaurant Operations Manager - Category 10 Las Vegas
About the role
This position involves working closely with leadership to develop, implement, and execute business strategies for a multi-experiential live music venue, bar, and restaurant. The role includes staff training and development, service strategy, operational budget, and sales strategies. Daily operations management responsibilities include staffing, guest service, culinary and beverage programs, live entertainment, and private events.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies for the venue
- Provide hands-on management of daily operations
- Staff, manage, and train front-of-house staff
- Ensure quality food and beverage presentation
- Build rapport with guests and inform them of upcoming events
- Respond to complaints and improve guest satisfaction
- Hire, schedule, train, and manage hourly departmental staff
- Maintain proper purchasing and inventory levels
- Monitor and track operational costs and budgets
- Generate and analyze staffing and revenue reports
- Participate in developing short- and long-term plans for revenue growth and cost control
- Support the security function and maintain the physical facility
- Communicate and uphold company standards and policies
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Degree in hotel/restaurant management is desired; practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative. 3+ years' progressive hospitality management experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or nightclub space. Micros Point of Sale, Compeat, and Hot Schedules experience a plus. Experience managing operations in accordance with union and labor relations agreements preferred.
