Restaurant Manager - Sally's Waterfront Dining

Responsibilities

Supports and manages the restaurant while working closely with hotel departments.

Supports the F&B MOD for outlet operations by learning all operating outlets across the hotel to support when appropriate.

Ensures alignment with immediate supervisors and two directly reporting assistant managers.

Responsible for short- and long-term planning to achieve financial and service goals.

Ensures effective hiring, training, and individual/team development.

Accountable for teams’ service and professional standards.

Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results.

Full understanding of Colleague engagement and driving results.

Develop and implement creative strategies for revenue enhancement and cost control.

Create a high energy, positive, professional environment.

Plan, coordinate & manage special promotions, events and competitions.

Work closely with marketing on promotional and marketing opportunities.

Qualifications

• A true desire to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Must be proficient in using point-of-sale systems, and reservation systems
• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized
• Candidates should possess proven leadership skills
• Candidates should possess strong food and beverage knowledge. Beverage knowledge should include wine, spirits and beer
• Hotel experience and a thorough understanding of restaurant service
• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant or Restaurant Manager is preferred
• Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and effective in providing exceptional customer service

Pay

The salary range for this position is $72,800 to $95,000. This is the pay range for this position that Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
