About the role

The Restaurant General Manager at El Super #65 is the top-level supervisor responsible for managing the daily operations of the restaurant. This includes selecting, developing, and managing employees, as well as training and developing Assistant Managers, Shift Leads, and other staff to achieve sound financial results and ensure the execution of El Super standards.

Responsibilities

  • Select, develop, and manage employees to meet the needs of the restaurant
  • Train and develop Assistant Managers, Shift Leads, and other staff
  • Ensure the restaurant operates within financial goals and company standards
  • Manage the overall operation of the restaurant, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and customer service
  • Collaborate with the District Manager and Director of Operations to ensure alignment with company goals and strategies

Requirements

  • Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar field
  • Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
