Restaurant Maintenance Technician

About the Role

This position reports to the Director of Maintenance and Director of Facilities. Travel to the Greenville/Spartanburg area is required, and a vehicle will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Repair malfunctioning equipment units and broken structures
• Install machinery systems
• Quality check equipment regularly to ensure everything is in working order
• Perform minor building, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as necessary
• Implement preventative maintenance measures
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
• Complete inspections of restaurants with RVP’s and AD’s when necessary
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocol
• Perform other maintenance duties as requested
• Follow up and complete the store maintenance list
• Send in completed work tickets and time sheets for the previous week on Monday
• Keep company vehicles clean and maintained
• Communicate any maintenance items that need to be replaced if they can’t be fixed or cost too much due to age or condition of equipment
• Communicate to the store manager, ADs, and RDOs on the status of repairs

Requirements

• Prior restaurant maintenance experience
• Up-to-date certifications in refrigeration and HVAC

Physical Requirements

• Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs
• Frequent: Climbing, crawling, bending, stooping, kneeling

The position will be responsible for up to 20 locations and is based in Augusta, GA.
