Restaurant Leader (Manager) Trainee

About the role

The Restaurant Leader Trainee role at 7-Eleven is designed for individuals who enjoy working as part of a restaurant management team and have previous supervisory experience. It offers a pathway to becoming a successful store manager, starting from roles like cashier or part-time positions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all restaurant employees.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as Health Department Standards.
• Implement and manage all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Use P&L and store reports to drive changes and improvements.
• Show excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Show proficiency in computer knowledge, particularly Microsoft products (Word, Excel).

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of restaurant management experience.
• The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

• Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred Word, Excel).
