Restaurant Kitchen Manager

About the role

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar/Thrive Restaurant Group seeks a Kitchen Manager to lead and inspire a team in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality and committed to developing their leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Manage inventory and procurement to optimize costs
• Collaborate with other managers to maintain a cohesive team approach

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of restaurant management experience
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel as needed

Skills

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
