About the role
Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar/Thrive Restaurant Group seeks a Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen operations and ensure exceptional service in the neighborhoods they serve. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality and committed to developing their leadership skills while making a positive impact on the lives of both guests and team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of service
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and food costs to optimize profitability
- Collaborate with other managers to maintain a cohesive team approach
- Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of restaurant management experience
- Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
