About the Role

At Live!, our Team Members are the foundation of our success and truly the most valuable part of the brand. This role greets restaurant guests with a positive, friendly attitude and ensures guests are seated in a timely manner, with a favorable dining experience.

Where You'll Make an Impact

• Greeting, welcoming, and seating guests
• Assigning wait staff to service guests in their sections
• Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in the restaurant
• Assisting wait/bar staff
• Assisting with bussing and resetting tables
• Cleaning host area and entrance to the restaurant
• Ensuring the safety and security of employees and customers
• Other duties as assigned

Skills to Help You Succeed

• Upbeat, outgoing, and positive attitude
• Must be able to communicate in English fluently and in a professional manner
• Available to work all shifts including day, swing, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a loud, high-energy 24-hour work environment
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent GED required
• Customer service experience dealing directly with customers
• Must be able to work in an alcohol and smoking environment
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live's operating standards

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach while assisting guests
