Our hosts know that first impressions are everything. They provide a warm and friendly welcome when our guests arrive or call in with questions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive at the facility and thank them for their patronage upon departure.
• Determine where guests would like to sit and guide them to their table while making casual conversation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory controls and the State Gaming Agency.
• Answer the phones and take messages/reservations.
• Maintain an accurate waitlist when necessary.
• Occasionally bus tables to expedite seating of waiting guests.
• Utilize communication skills significantly when interacting with guests, employees, and third parties.

Requirements

• RAMP certified.
• Must work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Reading and writing abilities are frequently utilized, often when recording and reviewing reservations and table assignment system.
• Basic mathematical skills are used frequently.
• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent work experience in a high volume, service focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, review, and understand seating charts.
• Must be able to handle, carry, or lift items weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods without sitting or leaning.
• Must be able to climb, bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms.
• Must be able to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
• Must be able to use the restroom multiple times per day and use elevators.
