Restaurant Host | Part-Time | University of Utah (Ken Garff University Club)
Responsibilities
- Greet and escort guests to proper seating tables.
- Check guests' purchased tickets and escort guests to table.
- Maintain stock and supply levels and communicate to the Restaurant Manager about low stock items.
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work space, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry is preferred.
- Previous hosting experience is preferred.
- Ability to learn to operate the corresponding system.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
Pay
The position pays an hourly rate of $8.00-$12.00 and is tip eligible.
Schedule
This position will remain open until August 7, 2026.
