Responsibilities

  • Prepare high volume catering utilizing cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Receive verbal orders from the front counter staff for food product requirements for guest orders.
  • Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items.
  • Ensure food is fresh and of high quality when served to guests.
  • Manage portion control and serving temperatures of all products served in the concession stand.
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and displays.
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens.
  • Ensure cleanliness of work areas and proper storage of food products, utensils, and floors.
  • Be checked out by the Floor Supervisor before ending the shift to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests.
  • Previous experience as a prep cook or line cook preferred.
  • A High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possession of a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.

Pay

The hourly rate for this role is $17.00 to $20.00.
