Restaurant Greeter

Job Responsibilities

• Assist guests in making reservations using Open Table reservation system.
• Assign tables to guests based on reservation details and restaurant availability.
• Answer questions about restaurant hours, menu items, and assist with other requests.
• Seat guests correctly and provide necessary supplies such as menus and silverware.
• Answer incoming calls within 3 rings in a friendly and professional manner.
• Multi-task between assisting guests, answering the phone, and supporting coworkers.
• Organize and utilize Open Table's reservation wait sheet.
• Operate electronic pager system according to the wait sheet and table availability.
• Rotate seating based on table availability and learn each server's name and section.
• Predict and accurately quote wait times to guests using restaurant systems.
• Perform restroom checks to ensure cleanliness and stock levels.
• Clean and restock greeter work stations after each shift.

• Capable of standing, walking, lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs, reaching, climbing stairs, bending, pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs.
