About the role

The Restaurant General Manager ensures the orderly and efficient functioning of the assigned restaurant by adhering to the philosophy of quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Assure adherence to the restaurant's quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality standards.
• Manage staff effectively to meet operational goals.
• Oversee daily operations including menu preparation, inventory management, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of restaurant management.
• Prior food service experience.
• State required minimum automobile liability insurance coverage.
• Show proof of current liability coverage.
• Must have a home or cellular telephone, or obtain one within three weeks of starting the position.
• Good interpersonal communication skills to direct employees and work with customers.
• Ability to pay attention to detail, cope with pressure, and remain calm under stressful situations.
• High school education or equivalent.
