About the role

The Restaurant General Manager will ensure the orderly and efficient functioning of assigned restaurants by assuring adherence to the philosophy of quality, service, cleanliness and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to the restaurant's quality, service, cleanliness, and hospitality standards.
• Manage staff effectively to meet operational goals and customer satisfaction levels.
• Oversee daily operations including menu preparation, inventory management, and food safety practices.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of restaurant management.
• Prior food service experience.
• At least the state required minimum automobile liability insurance coverage.
• Show proof of current liability coverage.
• Must have a home or cellular telephone and obtain one within three weeks of starting the position.
• Good interpersonal communication skills to direct employees and work with customers.
• Ability to pay attention to detail, cope with pressure, and remain calm under stressful situations.
• High school education or equivalent.
