Restaurant/Catering Server

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service while working collectively and cooperatively in the Clubs, Suites, or In-Seat environment.
• Interact with guests to assure guest satisfaction.
• Offer personal service and attention to detail that exceeds guest expectations.
• Serve food, soda, water, wine, draft beer, and bottled beer.
• Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within stadium.
• Support the service staff by clearing/cleaning tables and running food.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
• Be knowledgeable of other food, beverage, and retail outlets within the stadium.

Qualifications

• One to two years working in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Michigan Alcohol Server Certification (e.g., Servsafe, TIPS).

Skills And Abilities

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to interact with co-workers to comply with company service standards.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Ability to read, speak, and write English language to communicate with guests.
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.

Working Conditions

• Location: On-site at Grand Rapids Complex (Van Andel Arena, Acrisure Amphitheater, Amway Stadium), Grand Rapids, Michigan.
• Physical Demands: Constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
