About the role
The Catering Server will provide excellent customer service to all guests at off-site events in a timely manner and with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service to all guests
- Demonstrate knowledge of the menu, plate structure, wines, and the wine list
- Set up tables, chairs, linen, china, silverware, and glassware; clean and polish silverware and glassware
- Clear and clean all tables, work areas, and dining spaces according to proper procedures; return all equipment to its designated location
- Carry heavy trays of food from the kitchen to the dining area
- Perform all necessary side work as directed at the beginning and end of shift
- Assist the bartender when needed
- Maintain exemplary food handling, safety, and operational practices
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience serving prepared food to customers
- Direct customer service experience
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Bartending experience
Pay
Hourly Rate: $22.00
