Restaurant Busser - Luk Fu - Philadelphia

About the role

Accountable for clearing restaurant tables of dirty dishes and dirty linen in a fast and efficient manner. The Live Casino guest experience is enhanced with clean and organized dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Stock wait stations, bar, and host stand.
• Bring ice as needed.
• Clear tables of dirty dishes, linen, and silverware, then transport to kitchen via bus cart.
• Assist hosts and hostesses to seat patrons.
• Reset tables after they have been cleared.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One (1) year of food service experience (preferred).
• Must comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
• Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a scheduled shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach while carrying dishes, product, equipment, trash/waste weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push a bus cart and carry trash/linen bags weighing up to 50 pounds.

Skills

• Ability to organize and be creative.
• Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.
• Ability to use a cash register, credit card machine, point of sale machine, restaurant bar equipment, and related equipment.
• Ability to read simple instructions.
• Knowledgeable of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Ability to communicate in English; fluency in Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, or another Asian language is a plus.
