About the role

Brothers Bar & Grill in Downtown Indianapolis, IN is seeking multiple Assistant Managers. The Assistant Manager works closely with the entire management team to provide outstanding guest experiences and a positive work environment for all team members. This role is responsible for all aspects of restaurant operations including hiring, training, scheduling, inventory management, and assuring outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations
• Hire, train, and schedule team members
• Manage inventory and labor
• Ensure guest satisfaction and safety
• Use POS systems and inventory software
• Coach, train, and teach co-workers

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of restaurant management or supervision experience
• Bartending and/or restaurant serving experience
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, POS systems, and inventory software
• Full understanding of inventory control, labor management, safety management, and guest satisfaction
• Detail-oriented with well-developed time management skills
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
