About the role
The Facilities - Rest Room Attendant position at the BankNH Pavilion plays a crucial role in maintaining the venue's cleanliness and ensuring a pleasant guest experience. This seasonal role focuses on keeping the bathrooms clean and operational, preparing them for concerts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain venue cleanliness in an efficient, professional manner and contribute to an excellent guest experience.
- Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the bathrooms throughout the venue.
- Perform routine maintenance on restrooms throughout the venue.
- Keep venue bathrooms clean and free of food, trash, and other obstacles throughout the shift.
- Be knowledgeable of the entire venue campus.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner.
- Respond to calls from staff for spills, bodily fluids within the bathrooms.
- Follow housekeeping standards per policy.
- Ensure that trash cans are clean, free of odor, and lined in the restrooms.
- Turn all lost and found items into Box Office immediately.
- Refill toilet paper, paper towel, sanitary napkin and soap dispensers.
- Cleans and polishes hardware such as doors, woodwork, door handles, push plates, kick plates, metal handrails, cigarette urns and drinking fountains.
- Vacuum and spot clean rugs.
- Maintain adequate supply of cleaning equipment, materials and supplies.
- Uses cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, squeegees, cleaning cloths, sponges, pails, brushes, vacuum cleaners, etc.
- Removes wastepaper baskets and containers, and empties same into trash containers and cleans area after trash has been picked up.
- Reports all repairs required and safety and fire hazards to supervisor.
- Observes safety standards and practices.
- Performs related duties as required or assigned within job classification.
- Ensures that time worked is accurately captured through the ABIMM system.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Detail-oriented and team player with a positive “can-do” attitude.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Availability to include non-show days, nights, weekends, and even holidays.
- Sense of urgency.
- Time management skills.
- Knowledge of basic sanitation standards.
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- High School diploma.
- Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms.
