Responsible Master Plumber
About the role
Serve as the Responsible Master Plumber (RMP) for plumbing operations in Texas
Provide technical oversight and direction for plumbing installations, repairs, service work, and projects
Review plumbing work for code compliance, quality standards, and industry best practices
Support inspections, audits, and regulatory inquiries as required
Maintain an active Texas Master Plumber license and Responsible Master Plumber (RMP) designation in good standing
Requirements
- Active Texas Master Plumber License in good standing with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE)
- Current Responsible Master Plumber (RMP) designation or ability to obtain the designation and serve as the RMP of record for the company
- Recent and relevant commercial plumbing experience related to the responsibilities and scope of a Responsible Master Plumber
- Strong knowledge of Texas Plumbing License Law, TSBPE rules, and applicable plumbing and building codes
- Able to provide active general supervision and management of commercial plumbing operations
Qualifications
Prior experience serving as an RMP, or Plumbing Manager
Experience with commercial and/or multi-site Plumbing operations
Willingness to work in a hybrid or contractual capacity while providing all supervision and management required of an RMP
