What You'll Do

• Work with consumers facing mental health challenges to prevent hospitalization and support them in achieving their goals.
• Provide direct services in various community settings, including the home, school, work, crisis/respite house, or other locations.
• Support consumers during crises and provide a constant presence to stabilize them.
• Communicate with family members and treatment teams about the consumer's progress and needs.
• Implement and monitor scheduled activities and assist with medication administration.
• Participate in clinical supervision and provide input on clinical and program issues.
• Drive to community settings and maintain the cleanliness of the crisis/respite house.
• Attend to administrative and clinical documentation requirements and meet client care hour expectations.
• Support 24-hour crisis coverage and respond to crisis situations using crisis-specific training.
• Adhere to standards, policies, and ethical codes, and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
• Post-secondary education in a human services field or related work experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software.
