Respite Provider

Duties

• Provide respite care services to individuals with disabilities.
• Offer flexibility in scheduling based on family needs.
• Communicate effectively with families to understand their requirements.
• Work from home after initial trainings.
• Be available for some evenings, weekends, and hours that families request.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
• Basic computer skills for timekeeping and documentation.

• Valid driver's license.
• Auto insurance.
• A good driving record.
• Pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry, and a criminal history check.
